My Special you

You came to me in my sleep.

You sat quietly and did not speak.

I heard you begin to weep.

You looked at the clock and said it is four.

It is much sorrow that I shall see you no more.

I heard you and I was so happy that you were there.

I tried so hard to make you aware

That I was comforted by your presence.

Please stay by my side till I go whence

I shall not return.  To see you again I shall always yearn. 

You gave me much joy in my life.

With you there was never any strife.

You gave me birth and taught me all that I know.

Your smile is like a beautiful rainbow.

I try so hard to open my eyes and tell you

How happy I am that you came to see me through. 

You went this way before but now you are here.

I am blessed that you are near.

Slowly I begin to drift away.  Please, by my side stay.

I am not afraid because you are my guide.

Now that you are by my side

I can rejoice to rise 

To my eternal prize. 

As I bid this world goodby do not for me cry.

Jesus is all that I need and He is why I try

To let you know that I love you with all my heart.

I shall now leave but do not grieve as I depart.

It is with great joy that I shall now see the one

Whom my soul loveth.  Thank you that you have come.

You brought me here and now together we rise.

You came to see me home to my great prize.

Your spirit is sweet to my soul.

You have made me whole.

Lord Jesus, to you I come.

Together with my Mother we shall never more roam. 

Today My special one came and sat by my side.

She gave me great pride.

To call her Mother is the best prize of all.

With her by my side I shall never fall.
