Cutting off the OT;  from Joel one

Joel 1 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

1 The word of the Lord that came to Joel the son of Pethuel.

2 

Hear this, ye old men,
and give ear, all ye inhabitants of the land.
Hath this been in your days,
or even in the days of your fathers?

3 

Tell ye your children of it,

Last night I opened to this chapter and immediately saw this great revelation.  I had never seen this before in Joel one.

Who is this speaking to?  That is the clue:  old men.    Now this is not referring to old, as in human age.  What God revealed to me is….this is speaking to the OLD testament, law group.

This entire chapter is showing clearly the cutting off of that OT Law system.  In scripture, many times, the ‘law’ is spoken of as a living being.  It speaks to God and God speaks to it.  Love the revelation of God’s word.

Their ‘children’ are those of the NT, those who left law and came into Christ or the NT Grace covenant.

Tell ye your children of it,

and let your children tell their children,

and their children another generation.

4 

That which the palmerworm hath left hath the locust eaten;

and that which the locust hath left hath the cankerworm eaten;

and that which the cankerworm hath left hath the caterpiller eaten.

Unless you learn what the four heads were that ruled over man from Adam to Jesus, you will not get the truth of scriptures like this.  These four generations here, or those four ‘worms’ are those four heads or kingdoms.  Adam ruled as the first head or that Lion kingdom.

Noah was the second head or the bear kingdom.

The third kingdom was described as a leopard and had four heads.  These four heads are the breaking up of the oneness of men, after the confusion of their language.

There four heads were:  Noah’s three sons, Shem, Ham and Jepheth, and of course Abraham.  

The next of fourth and horrible kingdom or head was LAW, UNDER MOSES.

These four kingdoms are these four worms.  Keep this in mind as you study this chapter.  What little of God, that Adam’s kingdom left, the next kingdom devoured.  Then the next one devoured or ate up with that one left until nothing was left.  The law kingdom devoured all that was good.  And this is the condition Jesus found this world in.

Nothing but a verse by verse study of this chapter could do it justice….so

Awake, ye drunkards, and weep;

and howl, all ye drinkers of wine,

because of the new wine;

for it is cut off from your mouth.

“Drinkers” of ‘wine’?…is speaking of those who wanted the anointing from God.  But see, the NEW WINE, or the NT Grace, Holy  ghost wine, was cut off from that law group.  The two cannot mix. 

For a nation is come up upon my land,

strong, and without number,

whose teeth are the teeth of a lion,

and he hath the cheek teeth of a great lion.

He hath laid my vine waste,

and barked my fig tree:

he hath made it clean bare,

and cast it away;

the branches thereof are made white.

Law is speaking in these verses.  It is law that says, He hath laid my vine waste…Jesus laid their vine waste and baked their fig tree. 

This strong nation  is speaking of the same group in Joel 2, the NT Holy Ghost filled ministers.  Beginning with her head, Jesus, this strong nation barked that old fig tree of law.  They made it bare or empty and cast it away.  Jesus said to it, ‘your house is left to you DESOLATE’.  SO HE MADE IT DESOLATE.

Jesus is that Lion now.  This powerful Holy Ghost filled Church is speaking with the power of Jesus  Christ, this great Lion. 

8-Lament like a virgin girded with sackcloth

for the husband of her youth.

This is speaking to that law group…they are lamenting for their husband, law…for it is cut off.   This law is the husband of the youth of mankind.  Paul tells us in Romans 7, that we must be dead to this ‘husband’, Law,,,to be married to the new husband, Christ. 

9..The meat offering and the drink offering

is cut off from the house of the Lord;

the priests, the Lord’s ministers, mourn.

10 

The field is wasted, the land mourneth;

for the corn is wasted:

the new wine is dried up,

the oil languisheth.

Everything in that old field of the OT systems, is now mourning and cut off.  They have no corn, wine or oil.  They have no food from God….they hear no message or prophet speaking to them anymore.  

11..Be ye ashamed, O ye husbandmen;

howl, O ye vinedressers, for the wheat and for the barley;

because the harvest of the field is perished.

12 

The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languisheth;

the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree,

even all the trees of the field, are withered:

because joy is withered away from the sons of men.

Gird yourselves, and lament, ye priests:

howl, ye ministers of the altar:

come, lie all night in sackcloth,

ye ministers of my God:

for the meat offering and the drink offering

is withholden from the house of your God.

The above verse are speaking to the leaders of that old law system.  Their ‘vine’ dried up;  their fig tree died from the roots up for Jesus cursed it.

They have no joy;  they are the sons of men;  not sons of God.  Their priests are cut off.  Read Lamentations….it tells that the priest, the prophets, the kings, the sabbaths, the law, and all that pertained to that old law system was CUT OFF BY GOD.

They now have no meat offering or drink offering for God has rejected their system and accepts only the meat offering of the spiritual flesh given to us by Jesus Christ.  We must ‘eat’ his flesh or message, and drink his blood, or the power of salvation.  No amount of priests, prophets, sabbaths, animal sacrifices will get them to God.  He will not hear it.

14..Sanctify ye a fast, call a solemn assembly,

gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land

into the house of the Lord your God,

and cry unto the Lord,

15 

Alas for the day!

for the day of the Lord is at hand,

and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come.

16 

Is not the meat cut off before our eyes,

yea, joy and gladness from the house of our God?

They are now being told how to reach God…get together and cry out to God;  fast, seek truth.  The Day of the Lord has come to them…a destruction from the Almighty has come…..Jesus cut them off completely;  they will never, never be able to get to God via the OT law system.  It is a curse.

When that Army of God, Peter, Paul, James and that church came against this OT system, it failed completely.  They had nothing to fight with.  God was not with them.  He cut off their meat, of  supposed food and all joy and gladness from them.  They are now desolate, as pronounced by Jesus.

17..The seed is rotten under their clods,

the garners are laid desolate,

the barns are broken down;

for the corn is withered.

18 

How do the beasts groan!

the herds of cattle are perplexed, because they have no pasture;

yea, the flocks of sheep are made desolate.

The seed, or their ‘message’ is ROTTEN in their field and can do no good.  Their barns are desolate with no food in them.  Their corn or spiritual ‘food’ is withered;  no more good.  They ‘beasts’ groan.  These beasts are men, without the Holy Ghost, or a living soul.  The ‘cattle’ or people of that old pasture are now desolate; the sheep are desolate.  This refers to what was supposed to be God’s  children.  But Jesus said, your house is left to you DESOLATE.

19 

O Lord, to thee will I cry:

for the fire hath devoured the pastures of the wilderness,

and the flame hath burned all the trees of the field.

20 

The beasts of the field cry also unto thee:

for the rivers of waters are dried up,

and the fire hath devoured the pastures of the wilderness.

Beginning with verse 19 it has now moved all the way down through the seven churches, from that first witness of the Apostles, through the satanic mixture of the seven.  The Apostolic Church, with truth and power, had cut off that OT law system…but the wicked church brought it back up;  they revived that old head of law.

So the church ends up in a filthy condition, just as that law system did.  God will not put up with this.  So beginning with verse 19, it has moved to the second witness Church or the ones with the Baptism of Fire.

Now, people are seeing the truth and crying out to God because this Fire Baptized group, of Psalm 149, Revelation 11, has eaten up or cut off that old dead church system.

The pastures of the wilderness, which the first or true Church was a wilderness to that old law system,  but now it is corrupted and the new Army of God has devoured that pasture with the pastors polluted with their feet.  Eze 38.

The fire and the flame is the men and women who are Fire Baptized.  They have now taken down that old corrupt church and dried up the ‘waters’ of Baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins.

This is now no longer available to the nations of the world.

This second witness Church cuts that off…makes the sun and moon and stars DARK over the people.  Silence in Heaven…..Jesus returns in this powerful Church, in flaming FIRE TO DEVOUR THE WICKED or take vengeance on those who have rejected Grace and Know not God.

Thank you  my Lord and My God for this great revelation.

I wish to add here that God said, ‘I will restore the years that these four worms ate away’.  This is GREAT.  Just think….all that Adam took away….all that the other three kingdoms of the OT took away…God restored it.  Jesus came and gave eternal life back to us.  Praise his most Holy Name.
