Elkanah, Samuel's Dad, had two wives. One had children; she represents the OT Law system. She constantly provoked Hannah the other wife, who was barren. She prayed for a child and God gave her Samuel. The old priest had wicked sons. In the above Scripture God is telling those old priests that he is going to cut them off. Watch the prophecy of Jesus Christ coming from this family of priests, Aaron: 35 And I will raise me up a faithful priest, that shall do according to that which is in mine heart and in my mind: and I will build him a sure house; and he shall walk before mine anointed for ever. That prophecy is about Jesus Christ. So in order for Jesus to be a priest he had to have come from the family of Aaron. This is solid proof of what God told me that Mary is from the family of Aaron. The Word of God proves that it was Joseph who was from the tribe of Judah, family of David. So there it is again; proof that Jesus had both a natural mother and a natural Dad. Jo Smith. |
