Rebecca was all alone

She yearned for children, but there were none.

She yearned for love, but there was no one to hold.

Along came Brandon and now she is so bold.

Next, came Hanna and Rebecca was filled with joy.

Next  Her life was enhanced by a sweet little boy.

To Her surprise another precious girl made her complete….

but God said no, now my plan you must meet.

This time you will look death in the face and your faith will soar.

This time, pain, death and fear will bring you to heaven’s door. 

So, Rebecca told death to flee;  she said, you will not take me or my son.

I will embrace another son and He will be showing another important son.

Rebecca of old, had a favorite son, Jacob. These two were used by God to bring to pass the  shifting of the birthright from the firstborn, Adam, to the glorious obedient Son, Jesus.

Rebecca knowing the moving of God, showed her son, Jacob, how to obtain what he so desired;  to become the one God would use and give the heavenly inheritance to. The ‘mother’ in Scripture is the one who knew when it was time to send away the bond child and set up the second or spiritual child.  Four kingdoms have been used to rule this world.  Jacob, being Rebecca’s fourth child, is showing this in the patterns of God.

His smile is a delight and a beam of heaven’s sunshine.  He looks like a twin to his brother, causing this natural showing between Rebecca and Jacob to be even more confirmed.

God does use natural events to cause his word to be continually revealing his heavenly plan.  And so God has shown me that Rebecca had to have Jacob and actually she when into the jaws of death, even after delivery to go up and see her tiny son.  Nothing, no pain, no danger, could stop this MOTHER from being with her baby until he was able to come home.  Long live this loving family.

Blessed is the child who calls her mother.

Contended is the man who calls her wife.
