Post by Jo Smith on Nov 24, 2008 at 9:35pm~~ Part two of Emmanuel ~~
All of this was done (her conception and giving birth to Jesus)--
v23--23. Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
All of that was done so it could be fulfilled about the virgin bringing forth a son and calling his name Emmanuel, God with us.
Now was God with us in the baby Jesus? Of course not. Jesus was not a God. Jesus was a human being; born of human flesh. Sure the quickening was done by the Holy Ghost; but that did not make Jesus be a God. He did not quicken God in Mary; he quickened Humanity in Mary.
You need to realize that Jesus was the wife of God. Jesus is the wife forsaken in youth when he was refused. This was at Calvary. This is where God forsook Him (his wife). That is why I wanted you all to see the two creations and that Jesus is not God before trying to teach this. It would be impossible to understand this message without that. But I have been pushed to do this before I needed to.
I must show that Jesus was not the Emmanuel.
Jesus before the resurrection was first man Adam = human. That is what he came to do away with. He said he went into to hell to destroy Satan. He came out of that grave as the only begotten Son of God. (Romans 1) That is why we have been trying to show that part first. You must see that the son Mary birthed was NOT THE SON OF GOD BEING SPOKEN OF AS THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD.
I know the fact that the Holy Ghost overshadowed her for that conception makes it look as if this is the place where God begot His Son. But see that Paul stated in Romans 1, that it happened at the resurrection. Also Peter stated it when he quoted Psm. 2 that at the time of the resurrection is when that prophecy was fulfilled that God begot His Son?
See then that I am saying the same thing Paul and Peter said? If you can’t believe me, then try believing them.
I showed in the two creations, that the whole earth, with her king and all her people are the females of the universe. This is Spiritual. This is the wife of God. For God and the Heavenly world are the spirits, the males of the universe.
So with Jesus being the head of this earth’s kingdom, He is part of the female to God. He is the wife of God. He is the one who bore the children of God for God. We are his children. He is our Mother.
Jesus is the woman in travail in Rev. 12. Yes, Jesus was in travail at Calvary. He went through this to give us life. To bear children to God.
The woman being with child, means God had put a SEED in her. This seed is to bring forth a Son of God in the likeness and glory of God. The Seed is His Word.
We are now with child the same way. We have the Seed of God in us, working to bring us forth at the resurrection in the likeness and glory of God, our Father. This is done by Jesus our Mother.
Jesus, being a human being same as us, had a SEED of God placed inside him. This seed was the Word of God. It was working in Jesus to bring forth a Son of God at his resurrection, in the likeness and glory of God, his Father.
So then, JESUS WAS THAT VIRGIN WITH CHILD. JESUS IS THAT VIRGIN UNTO GOD, DOING ALWAYS THE THINGS WHICH PLEASED GOD, JESUS IS THAT VIRGIN WHO WAS SPOKEN OF IN ISAIAH 7, WHO WOULD BRING FORTH A VIRGIN BORN SON OF GOD.
That Seed of God was placed into his womb (= his soul), and worked there all the days of his life to bring him forth into the likeness and glory of God. At his resurrection, it was said, this is the day I have begotten this Son of God.
This is the day that prophecy in Psm. 2 was fulfilled. So back to Matt. Read down through v22--this Mary bringing forth HER SON, JESUS, was done in order that the prophecy of Isa. 7, (a virgin shall be with child and bring forth a son) could be fulfilled.
If Jesus had not been born of Mary the way he was, then that virgin (Jesus) could not have also fulfilled His part of bringing forth a Son of God by the Seed Word of God which had been inside him. He never sinned; he did always the things which pleased God, therefore He came forth the very FIRST BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD IN GOD’S IMAGE.
Hebs. 2: 9. But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
10. For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
11. For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,
12. Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee.
13. And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me.
14. Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
15. And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
16. For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.
17. Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.
18. For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.
Now I know this is getting very long; But with such a message this is the only to explain all of this.
Verse 9 shows that Jesus was made lower than angels for the suffering of death.
v10--shows that Jesus was to bring many sons unto glory ( showing he is our Mother) to bring us to perfect Sons of God.
v11- he now calls these Sons his brethren. See they are all now in the Family of God. (this is speaking of at the end, after the resurrection; then we will be like unto them, glorified).
Now proof: verse 13--. And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me.
See? This is Jesus speaking. I and the children God gave me. See? Jesus the Mother, God the Father.
Jesus, the resurrected Son of God being the first one. All the true saints the next children. Jesus is our Mother, our sister, and our brother. He also is our Father in that He is the one who puts that Seed into us.
Now v. 14--shows that because we children had partaken of flesh and blood, he did also. He did this so he could die and destroy the devil.
v16--He took not the nature of angels, but the seed of Abraham --- which was a human being. Surely you do not think Abraham was God?
V17--Proves He was made like unto his brethren, having suffered just as us.
So in conclusion, Jesus was the virgin with child who brought forth the Son of God, the resurrected Christ. This Christ is that virgin born Son, born of Jesus, the Son of Mary.
Mary birthed her son, Jesus, a human being. This man died for our sins. Inside this man was the Seed Word of God growing and coming to maturity. At the resurrection, this Seed produced the perfect Son of God, Jesus Christ.
Just as we have an ‘old man’ which we must crucify so Christ can be formed in us - so did the captain of our salvation, Jesus, Mary’s son, have an ‘old’ man nature, first man Adam, human flesh, which had to be crucified so the inner man, the Seed of God could live. He was the first begotten from the dead.
This is Christ, the virgin born son of God, the Son of Jesus. This Christ is the Son of God in the likeness and glory of God the Father. This Christ is the Emmanuel, God with us. He put his own Spirit into me, thus he is God with me.
God was in Christ, therefore that was also God with us, because God was in him. God is with us because His Spirit is in us. So his spirit is the Emmanuel. That is inside me.
