The True Jerusalem

Zechariah 12: 12 The burden of the word of the Lord for Israel, saith the Lord, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.

2 Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.

Notice, the above is the words of the Lord; the burden of the word.  ‘12 The burden of the word of the Lord for Israel, saith the Lord, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.

2 Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.  [Who did this?  The Lord.  Who are the people?  All of them.  When?  When they are in siege against Who?  You will think it is talking about the natural, earthly town of Jerusalem;  but is it?  Not at all.  This is a very serious MISTAKE that almost everyone makes and it totally kills your hope of ever finding the truth of Scripture!

Who causes people to tremble? Who were they in siege against?  Who was the world, the kings and others gathered against?  If you think this is about an earthly city falsely called Jerusalem, you are blind and will never see any truth with this lie in our mind. This lie is causing more evil and people to end up lost than anything else ever in existence.

3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.

Who is The Stone?  Let’s see: Daniel 2:34 Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces.        Daniel 2:35

Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.     [This is the kingdom of Jesus Christ]

  Daniel 2:45  Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.

So who is the stone that cuts them to pieces:  Matthew 21:43-45 43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.

44 And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder. 45 And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard his parables, they perceived that he spake of them.  [This verse makes it very clear that the STONE that broke them to pieces is JESUS.  Jesus is this stone.  Jesus is that City.  Jesus is that Jerusalem.  Put these verses together and it is solidly PROVEN. 

Zechariah 3:9  For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the Lord of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.   [So who has the seven eyes?  Do you know?  Is it that natural city?

Now for the right answer: 1 Peter 2:4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, 1 Peter 2:6 Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.
1 Peter 2:7
Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,
1 Peter 2:8
And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.

So there is your stone that they were against.  The stone that the builders rejected became the headstone.

So how is it Jerusalem?  Let’s see: Daniel 9:18 O my God, incline thine ear, and hear; open thine eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by thy name: for we do not present our supplications before thee for our righteousnesses, but for thy great mercies.

Daniel 9:19 O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive; O Lord, hearken and do; defer not, for thine own sake, O my God: for thy city and thy people are called by thy name.  [ So, what city is called by the name of the Lord?  Jerusalem…. So then, Jerusalem is the name of the Lord.   The earthly city that David falsely called Jerusalem was truly a Canaanite City named Jebus.   That earthly city is NOT JERUSALEM.   Jesus is. 

So then don’t you see that the stone that the people and kings were gathered against is JESUS?  They murdered him!  This is what this is all about.  So see how the world has and is missing the real truth of the Word of God by thinking each time they see the words, Jerusalem, Israel, Judah, etc, that it is speaking about that carnal earthly town that is truly a Canaanite City?

So, is Israel the same?  Let’s see. Genesis 32: 28 And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.

Deut. 28: 10 And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the Lord; and they shall be afraid of thee.    [ this proves that the name of Israel is also the name of the Lord because the nation was called Israel.  But it is not their own name;  it is the name of the Lord.  They were as Jacob… being called by the name of the Lord.  So Jerusalem is Jesus and Israel is also Jesus.  Jesus is called David;  Joshua; Levi and many other names in  Scripture.  This is one of the deep and hidden secrets which has blinded people to any real truth. ]

The true place of Jerusalem was in the Garden of Eden, before the flood.  Proof?  Sure. 

Abel was killed in that Jerusalem:  Mat. 23: 35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.

36 Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.

37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!

38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.   [If that house, Jerusalem, was left DESOLATE, it is still desolate.  It is also Babylon:  Proof:  sure> Rev. 18..  Speaking to Babylon:  24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.   [See, same words as in Mat 23.]

Proof that the old nation of Israel was cursed by God;  it is desolate; forever;  cursed forever:  God cursed the priests:  Malachi 2 2 And now, O ye priests, this commandment is for you. 2 If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the Lord of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart.   3: 9 Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.

There it is;  God cursed that whole nation and yet people still think they are somehow special to God.  They truly should study this Word and stop believing those lies. 

So who is the blessed Seed?  The blessed nation?  The chosen people?  Let’s see:

Galatians 3: 13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

15 Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man's covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto.

16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

The promised faith seed is Christ;  not old Israel.  They are cursed.  Romans 2 says that he is not a Jew which is one outward.  Study the Word of God or end up with the cursed seed of old earthy Jerusalem/Israel.  

Now more proof that the Jerusalem that the Word of God is about is Jesus:  Zech. 12: 10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.

The house of David is the kingdom of Jesus Christ.  He is the spirit of Grace.  He is the one they pierced.  That is when the kings, nations and all the people were gathered together against HIM.  Stop crediting the glory that belongs to only JESUS to that evil earthly town falsely called Jerusalem.  They are not the true Jerusalem or the true Israel.  The people of FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST ARE THE ISRAEL OF GOD.  IT is Jesus.
