Two or Three witnesses of Virgin birth

By: Jo Smith….. August 11, 2017

God said in the mouth of two or three witnesses let EVERY WORD BE ESTABLISHED.  For something as important as VIRGIN BIRTH, God would surely give the THREE or maximum required witnesses.

Years ago I saw the first virgin birth, recorded in Isaiah 8.  God revealed this to me.  But at the time I was still thinking of it as a ‘spoken word’ doing.  Now I know that is not how this is performed.

Until I saw clearly that Jesus Christ is the natural son of Joseph, via the working of the Holy Ghost, I did not see that this is how that first ‘virgin birth’ was also accomplished.

These three virgin births, I am about to show you, took place in the NATURAL, OF FLESHLY REALM.

Then of course, we give virgin birth, to our own ‘son of God’.  .. spiritually. But for now, I wish to show you the three natural events of this virgin birth.

First, the one required to be shown in the OT, for God proved everything there, by his Prophets.

You will read the fulfillment of that prophecy in Isa. 8:1-15. This prophecy in Isa. 7:14---Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel, was fulfilled in Isa. 8. Isaiah was told to take a great roll, and write in it with a man’s pen, concerning Mahershalalhashbaz. v2---And I took unto me faithful witnesses to record, Uriah the priest, and Zechariah the son of Jeberechiah.

v3---And I went unto the prophetesss; and she conceived, and bare a son. Then said the LORD to me, Call his name Mahershalalhashbaz.

v4---For before the child shall have knowledge to cry, My father, and my mother, the riches of Damascus and the spoil of Samaria shall be taken away before the King of Assyria.

V 8--Shows that this will be fulfilled within 65 years of that time this is spoken; so this had to be fulfilled back there then.

Isa.7:15,16---Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good, For before the child shall know to refuse the evil, and choose the good, the land that thou abhorrest shall be forsaken of both her kings.

This shows that in THEIR day, a virgin born son would still be a baby, not knowing how to say, My father and my mother, also before this child knew to refuse the evil and choose the good, the land that Ahaz hated would be forsaken of her king. This happened BACK there in their day; not way down in the day of Jesus.

Notice, it did not say that Isaiah ‘went in unto’ the prophetess, which would have meant he had intercourse with her. But, it said he went unto her. That means he only went to where she was. Now, WHY would he take faithful witnesses to record this event, IF he were going to have intercourse with her?

I took the above from a message I wrote years ago on this subject.  At that time I did not see how this conception was accomplished.  But now I do.  I also wrote that the prophesy of Isa 9:6 is not the virgin birth of Jesus from Mary, but the begotten Son of  God, from Jesus himself.

But now I am going to show you that Jesus was conceived into Mary by the Holy Ghost taking seed from Joseph and placing it into Mary.  Scripture clearly shows that Jesus is the natural son of Joseph, son of David.

Then of course, Jesus himself bore the begotten virgin son of God, his own inner  Christ, at the resurrection.  But today I am dealing only with the three natural events of virgin birth.  It may not be that the Mother was a virgin, as in the case of John the Baptist, but that the Son, John, was conceived the very same way as Mahershalalhashbaz and Jesus.

Luke 1: There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth.

And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.

And they had no child, because that Elisabeth was barren, and they both were now well stricken in years.

And it came to pass, that while he executed the priest's office before God in the order of his course,

According to the custom of the priest's office, his lot was to burn incense when he went into the temple of the Lord.

10 And the whole multitude of the people were praying without at the time of incense.

11 And there appeared unto him an angel of the Lord standing on the right side of the altar of incense.

12 And when Zacharias saw him, he was troubled, and fear fell upon him.

13 But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John.

Notice, Elisabeth was barren and they were both very old.  But the angel  told Zacharias that his wife will bear him a son.

21 And the people waited for Zacharias, and marvelled that he tarried so long in the temple.

22 And when he came out, he could not speak unto them: and they perceived that he had seen a vision in the temple: for he beckoned unto them, and remained speechless.

23 And it came to pass, that, as soon as the days of his ministration were accomplished, he departed to his own house.

24 And after those days his wife Elisabeth conceived, and hid herself five months, saying,

Notice, this does not mention that Zacharias ‘KNEW’ Elisabeth, as it does almost every time this is the case.  I think it is very significant that this is not spoken here.  It has already stated that they are both well stricken in age.  It does NOT say that Zacharias KNOWS her for her to conceive…..but it does point out that this is his son..

In Isaiah 8, there is proof that no one ‘knew’ that prophetess for her to conceive…..yet it was his son…

Again, Joseph did not ‘touch’ Mary for her to conceive…yet it was his son.

So I say here, again, for the THIRD and important witness…. the Holy Ghost took seed from Zacharias and gave it to Elisabeth.

Three times.  This is solid proof that this is how these three sons were conceived.  I studied this last night to see and since it does NOT state that Zacharias KNEW HIS WIFE, I believe it is showing that this the third time God gave conception by the working of the Holy Ghost, and not by sex.

It is such solid proof…..fulfilling God’s own law…requiring two or THREE witnesses…..to establish a thing.  So I see now that as this is the most important even in Scripture, it would be verified with the full THREE WITNESSES.

Amen.
