The Broken heart

The last time I saw you my life was through.

Life should never do this to anyone before they die.

Without you I have no reason to even try

To find joy and love again.  

Never again;  it is too much pain.

All my hopes and dreams were torn apart

When you said the words that broke my heart.

Life should never do this to anyone before they die.

All I can do now is sit and cry.

I should have known right from the start

That I was headed for a broken heart.

You proved over and over that you did not really care.

Yet you claimed that all our life we would share.

When I needed you the most you turned and ran.

You tore apart our entire plan

when you said the words that shattered my life.

You said another woman is to become your wife.

Now the years have passed

 and I am happy again at last.

I have learned on the Lord to depend 

and that is more glory than back then. 

He has filled my well with living water

And said that I am His daughter.

Now that is more life and joy

Than can ever be with a boy. 

They will use you as their toy

And then your life destroy.

This truly should never happen to someone before they die.

But Now we can live life to the fullest if we try.

Through it all we learn to live life and accept all it brings.

Thus we climb the heights and sit as Kings.

We have overcome and will enjoy all things.
