perdition

I am studying still in Daniel.  I am trying to get hold of cp 8 and 11.  they, to me, are the hardest in all scripture.

I am concentrating right now on this:  see if you can get anything on it:

John 17:12While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.

My thought:  God did not give any of the OT people to Jesus.  ever think of that?  I did not till today.

Hebrews speaks of Moses being a servant over his house.  I say that means the law folks.

Then there was the kings.  and before that the prophets.  and before them the judges and before that Adam.

Now seems to me that God only gave to Jesus the ones in the NT who obey the gospel.

But then he says he lost one of them.  the son of perdition.

this word, perdition, is not one time used in the OT.

I know most folks say that is Judas.  and it may be.  but I am thinking it must also include others.

I need this answer for something that has me stumped in cp 8,.

If you are anyone else gets something on this, I need to hear it.

Oh, I just looked back at my scriptures and the very next verse gives this answer: Philippians 1:28 And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God..... see this here....it is showing that those who are adversaries to the true Christians or ministers are set for perdition. they then, would also be sons of perdition..... what think ye? I knew in my heart it had to be more than just one person.

as we have seen all through the Word, none of these words, 'one', Christ, man, and even God, means just 1 being. so also son of perdition must be an entire group of folks who went back on Jesus.

ok, going back to my scriptures, it is coming clear: 2 Thessalonians 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;...... this is what has tripped up the world into thinking there will be a 1-man antichrist. not so. cannot be. already in the world are many antichrist. so here it is showing that there will be a big falling away.....meaning many people falling into the perdition condition. so all of them are THE SON OF PERDITION. they are all against Jesus and therefore will open up the thing in cp 8 that I needed to see.

all of these perdition folks had at one time claimed to serve Jesus. that is their Mark.

th

aw, here it is, very clear now...... 1 Timothy 6:9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition..... see this is further description of those who are SON OF PERDITION..... I KNEW IT. I KNEW IN MY HEART IT COULD NOT BE JUST 1 MAN OR PERSON. so then these all would be the he-goat in cp 8. I prayed for God to show me and just now he is showing me.

I will have to go back and copy and paste all of these answers to my messages. just writing this in spurts. did not expect this when I wrote the first one up there. see, this is how God teaches me. I had no idea about this when I wrote the first post here. This is why 'perdition' is not in OT scripture. I puzzled about this when I first saw it. But now it is clear....see?  it is those who fell AWAY FROM JESUS and went back to the world and betrayed Jesus as Judas did. he, Judas, is the beginning of this 'kingdom' of son of perdition.

Oh my goodness!!! the very next verse proves what I just said. I knew none of this when I began this thread:....look.... Hebrews 10:39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul....... This is proving that it is the DRAWING BACK THAT CAUSES THEM BE SONS OF PERDITION. those who once knew Jesus and then fell away. see then what a horrible lie and deception it is to say 'once saved, always saved'. this lie will lead billions to perdition.

oh my goodness, again!!! look at this....how people are so cheated who do not have the anointing teaching them....this is so exciting....I am getting this now as I write:

2 Peter 3:7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.... look Peter is calling the NT the heavens and earth that are now..... beginning with Jesus.... they are the ones who are reserved unto fire and perdition of ungodly men...... it is those who turned or fell away from Jesus, after having made a start with him.

look..... look at this.... my goodness, such revelation: Revelation 17:8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is..... this?.... it is showing that the BEAST is those who knew Jesus and went away from him. fell back to law and sin. they came out of the bottomless pit - whore church .... and went into PERDITION. see, the churched folks, going on in their sins. they are the son of perdition. glory. God just gave it to me.

Now I think cp 8 and 11 will clear up. Hope tweety is reading this.

and now the final verse on this word: Revelation 17:11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition..... see it is showing that out of the seven harlot churches comes a full united beast, the eighth , the son of perdition. wow and double wow.

all of the above shows how I can get much more by studying here on the computer, where I can line up all the verses about one word or phrase. when you do that you can see the revelation of it much more than just reading straight through a chapter.

just now had this thought: hell, then, would be where OT folks went when they died outside faith in God. Lake of fire is where son of perdition, or those who turned away from Jesus go when they did. been a puzzle to me a long time. Now I see it. it is much worse to reject or turn away from Jesus, since he died to save us, then to be lost in the OT.
