[here is part 2 of the Revelation message:  I am only going to write little parts at a time because it covers a lot of ground.]
Chapter five shows Jesus, after he ascended to heaven, taking the book of his life out of the hand of God, who is sitting on HIS throne in heaven.  This is also when God set Jesus on God’s throne and told everyone to now worship his son.  In Hebrews 1 we see this account as God calls Jesus God and therefore set Jesus to be our Lord and Our God.  This is a mystery that the church is totally blind to.
In order to shorten this message a bit, I will not quote all the scripture that I am speaking of.  In Chapter six, under the sixth seal, is the crucifixion of Jesus.  Here we see the fall of the OT.  We see the fig tree cast her untimely figs, [old Israel], when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
This is speaking of the Day of Pentecost, as the Holy Ghost came and shook the whole nation and house.  This did away with that OT era or system.  It was the beginning of the NT system under Jesus’ grace.
Verse 14, the heaven departing as a scroll and the mountains and islands moving out of their places is the OT being done away with.
Read Lamentation and you can see this plainly laid out.  No longer can men come to God by law;  by killing animals and burning incense or such stuff.  That was done away with when Jesus died on that cross.  He nailed that law to his cross and did away with it for it was always an abomination to God.  Isa 1 and 66 and many other places proves this.
Still in Rev 6, I have to quote this for you:
15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
All those great men, rich men etc is that OT group of folks seeking to avoid the wrath of God that THEN hit that OT law system.
Some of them hid in DENS.  These dens are CHURCHES.  There is scripture to prove this but I am not going to go there.
Others ran to the rocks of the MOUNTAINS.  This is those NT Apostles.
These ran to the right place and found safety.  They said to these mountains, Peter, Paul, etc, fall on us and hide us from that wrath.  And so they did.  End of part 2.
