Eggs, wings and feathers

By: Jo Smith ~~~~~ August 16, 2020

Job 39: 13 Gavest thou the goodly wings unto the peacocks? or wings and feathers unto the ostrich?

14 Which leaveth her eggs in the earth, and warmeth them in dust,

15 And forgetteth that the foot may crush them, or that the wild beast may break them.

16 She is hardened against her young ones, as though they were not her's: her labour is in vain without fear;

17 Because God hath deprived her of wisdom, neither hath he imparted to her understanding.

18 What time she lifteth up herself on high, she scorneth the horse and his rider.

The above Scripture seems to have nothing to do with spiritual living, when you look at it with a carnal or natural mind. But God's Word is spiritual and must be spiritually discerned. The carnal mind or

natural interpretation is death or the tree of knowledge of good and evil. It puts God's word down

on a 'human' level or lowers it to be of no value, spiritually.

In order to understand the above spiritually one must look up the original Hebrew meanings of the

words. This takes time and lots of work. But Jesus said we must study the Word; search the Scripture.

This is why most people never learn the real truth for they refuse to study the Word.

OK, get started:

39:13 [Gavest thou] the goodly 7443 wings 3671 unto the peacocks 5965 8738? or wings 84

and feathers 2624 unto the ostrich 5133?(wings and…: or, the feathers of the stork

and ostrich)

Verse 13... [Goodly]...

Here is the original Strongs: Strong: H7442

Orig: a primitive root; properly, to creak (or emit a stridulous sound), i.e. to shout (usually for joy):--aloud for joy, cry out, be joyful (greatly, make to) rejoice, (cause to) shout (for joy), (cause to) sing (aloud, for joy, out), triumph.

ME: It shows to shout for joy...sing aloud, for joy. be joyful.. Great Holy Ghost worship.

Peacocks: Strong: H5965

Orig: a primitive root; to leap for joy, i.e. exult, wave joyously:--X peacock, rejoice, solace self.

    1) to rejoice
    1a) (Qal) to rejoice
    1b) (Niphal) to exult
1b1) to flap joyously (of ostrich)
    1c) (Hithpael) to delight oneself

So once again we see the meaning of rejoicing or flapping joyously. (I love this; shows why we wave

our arms in worship.) ..to delight oneself.

Mind you, this is the original meaning of the word translated here as peacock.

Wing: Strong: H84

Orig: feminine of 83:--feather, wing. H83

    1) pinion, wing
1a) of bird (ostrich, eagle, dove)
    1b) of God (metaph)

Feathers: (This one is powerful)

Strong: H2623

Orig: from 2616; properly, kind, i.e. (religiously) pious (a saint):--godly (man), good, holy (one), merciful, saint, (un- )godly. H2616

    1) faithful, kind, godly, holy one, saint, pious
    1a) kind
    1b) pious, godly
    1c) faithful ones (subst)

So from the above we see that FEATHERS shows a Godly trait. I had often believed this to be

the real meaning of feathered fowl or birds, in Scripture. And this proves I was right. So the

people who receive the Holy Ghost and acquire a Godly spirit of being faithful, saintly, holy, merciful and kind are the ones referred to in Scripture as the birds that fly in the firmament. The apostles

were the main ones.

Church folks who stay carnal, no faith, no gifts of the Spirit and say they are still sinners are NOT the

feathered fowl or birds. The eagle and dove are our type. The carnal folks are referred to as brute

beasts or beasts of the field.

The fish of the sea are those who are yet to come to Christ. We must go 'fishing' for them.

39:14 Which leaveth 5800 8799 her eggs 1000 in the earth 776, and warmeth 2552 8762 them in dust 6083,

Verse 14: leaveth: Strong: H5800

Orig: a primitive root; to loosen, i.e. relinquish, permit, etc.:--commit self, fail, forsake, fortify, help, leave (destitute, off), refuse,

1) to leave, loose, forsake
1a) (Qal) to leave
1a1) to depart from, leave behind, leave, let alone
1a2) to leave, abandon, forsake, neglect, apostatise
1a3) to let loose, set free, let go, free
1b) (Niphal)
1b1) to be left to
1b2) to be forsaken
1c) (Pual) to be deserted

I will pick back up with this after I show you what egg means:

Egg:

Orig: from an unused root (of the same form) meaning to bleach, i.e. (intransitive) be white; probably cotton (of some sort):--fine (white) linen.

    1) byssus, a costly, fine white linen cloth made in Egypt

So from the above this 'egg' is showing RIGHTEOUSNESS.

So this person had began a life with God. They had acquired some righteousness. BUT she left it behind. She abandoned it, forsook ie, neglected it. She let go of it. Why?

Earth:

Strong: H776

Orig: from an unused root probably meaning to be firm; the earth (at large, or partitively a land):--X common, country, earth, field, ground, land, X natins, way, + wilderness, world.

    land, earth
    1a) earth
1a1) whole earth (as opposed to a part)
1a2) earth (as opposed to heaven)

This person has settled for earthly stuff and not seeking heavenly heights. She has now become a member of a church.

Strong: H2552

Orig: a primitive root; to be hot (literally or figuratively):--enflame self, get (have) heat, be (wax) hot, (be, wax) warm (self, at).

    1) to be hot, become warm
    1a) (Qal)
1a1) to be or grow warm
    1a2) of passion (fig.)
1b) (Niphal) to become aroused, inflame oneself with
    1c) (Piel) to warm
    1d) (Hithpael) to warm oneself

She has not become passioned about her church and self. Inflame oneself...that is scripture and not a good thing.

Here is why she became inflamed in the wrong thing... she left her 'egg' or religion to warm in the

Dust:

Strong: H6083

Orig: from 6080; dust (as powdered or gray); hence, clay, earth, mud:--ashes, dust, earth, ground, morter, powder, rubbish. H6080

    1) dry earth, dust, powder, ashes, earth, ground, mortar, rubbish
    1a) dry or loose earth
    1b) debris
    1c) mortar
    1d) ore

See, it is the same as the one who built their 'house' or spiritual life on the SAND.

It fell.

Earth, mud, ashes, dust, rubbish...that is what this person got into when she left her egg in the sand, or joined that church. She does not have the feathers, the shouting for joy. She BURIED her start and settled for a dead lifeless church meeting.

39:15 And forgetteth 7911 8799 that the foot 7272 may crush 2115 8799 them, or that

the wild 7704 beast 2416 may break 1758 8799 them.

Forgettest:

Strong: H7911

Orig: or shakeach \i shaw-kay'-akh\i0\plain\f3\fs21\cf23 ; a primitive root; to mislay, i.e. to be oblivious of, from want of memory or attention:--X at all, (cause to) forget.

    1) to forget, ignore, wither
    1a) (Qal)
    1a1) to forget
    1a2) to cease to care
    1b) (Niphal) to be forgotten
1c) (Piel) to cause to forget
1d) (Hiphil) to make or cause to forget
    1e) (Hithpael) to be forgotten

See, this 'church member' has forgotten the holy start she had. She got caught up in 'church' work

and forgot to be holy and Godly. The things of the Spirit of God were left behind and a carnal religion

took its place.

Foot:

Strong: H7270

Orig: a primitive root; to walk along; but only in specifically, applications, to reconnoiter, to be a tale-bearer (i.e. slander); also (as denominative from 7272) to lead about:--backbite, search, slander, (e-)spy (out), teach to go, view. H7272

    1) to go on foot, spy out, foot it, go about, walk along, move the feet
1a) (Qal) to be a tale-bearer, slander, go about
    1b) (Piel)
    1b1) to slander
1b2) to go about as explorer, spy
1c) (Tiphel) to teach to walk

All the things above got into her life after she left off shouting for joy and buried her 'egg'.

Crush:

Strong: H6695

Orig: or (feminine) tsuwqah \i tsoo-kaw'\i0\plain\f3\fs21\cf23 ; from 6693; a strait, i.e. (figuratively) distress:--anguish, X troublous. H6693

    n m
    1) constraint, distress, strait
    1a) distress, anguish (fig.)

    n f
    2) pressure, distress

So from the above meaning of crush we find that the 'church or foot of that paid beast/pastor, has

put this person under CONSTRAINT. Or law. Obligation...no freedom....no shouting for joy...'must

be at

your church when we have something...must pay tithes/preacher....must obey him...must not go

anywhere else, etc. This is law. This is how they put your joy out. This is how they crush your 'egg'

or righteousness and further children. This is what happens when you join a church and become

held down by them. Paul said, not by constraint. Not by law.

Wild:

Strong: H7704

Orig: or saday \i saw-dah'-ee\i0\plain\f3\fs21\cf23 ; from an unused root meaning to spread out; a field (as flat):--country, field, ground, land, soil, X wild.

    1) field, land
    1a) cultivated field
1b) of home of wild beasts
    1c) plain (opposed to mountain)
    1d) land (opposed to sea)

The above shows that this 'dead' religion is earthly; beast of the field. That is church and church folks/pastors. They are the wild beast that breaks your EGG or white or righteousness.

39:16 She is hardened 7188 8689 against her young ones 1121, as though [they

were] not 3808 hers: her labour 3018 is in vain 7385 without fear 6343;

Hardened:

Strong: H7188

Orig: a primitive root; to be (causatively, make) unfeeling:--harden.

    1) to make hard, treat hardly, treat severely
    1a) (Hiphil)
1a1) to make hard, make stubborn
1a2) to treat hardly, treat roughly

So, through the crushing of the foot of that beast of the field, (paid pastor), this person has become

hard against what she started out with, her egg.

Labour:

Strong: H3021

Orig: a primitive root; properly, to gasp; hence, to be exhausted, to tire, to toil:--faint, (make to) labour, (be) weary.

    1) to toil, labour, grow weary, be weary
    1a) (Qal)
    1a1) to toil, labour
1a2) to grow weary, be weary
1b) (Piel) to weary, make weary, cause to go toilsomely
1c) (Hiphil) to make to toil, make weary, cause to be weary

The above shows that the beast who crushed her egg has put her under law or hard labour and caused

her to grow weary. Jesus said, 'come unto to me you who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you

rest'. But the beast said, no. do not go to Jesus to rest. I need you to labour for me. I put you back

under law and caused you to loose your egg.

Vain:

Strong: H7324

Orig: a primitive root; to pour out (literally or figuratively), i.e. empty:--X arm, cast out, draw (out), (make) empty, pour forth (out).

    1) to make empty, empty out
    1a) (Hiphil)
1a1) to empty, keep empty or hungry
1a2) to pour out or down
    1a3) to empty out
1b) (Hophal) to be emptied out

So by putting that church member back under law or obligation he caused her to become empty.

He emptied her out....out of her joyous shouting and joyful worship and Godliness. Such a shame.

Fear:

Strong: H6342

Orig: a primitive root; to be startled (by a sudden alarm); hence, to fear in general:--be afraid, stand in awe, (be in) fear, make to shake.

    1) to fear, tremble, revere, dread, be in awe or dread
    1a) (Qal)
    1a1) to be in dread
    1a2) to be in awe
1b) (Piel) to be in great dread
1c) (Hiphil) to cause to dread

The beast of the field or paid pastor/prophet, caused the person to dread his religion, to be in awe

of him, thinking that only he can get something from God. This causes the ostrich or member to

lose their own joy and ability to feed from the word of God for themselves. Thus they have curshed

all the original life and joy out of this person. Now they only have a dread that they must be at

that church

every time that door is open. This is the poison that is constantly poured into the unsuspecting

church members.

39:17 Because God 433 hath deprived 5382 8689 her of wisdom 2451, neither hath he imparted 2505 8804 to

her understanding 998.

Forget:

Strong: H5382

Orig: a primitive root; to forget; figuratively, to neglect; causatively, to remit, remove:--forget, deprive, exact.

    1) to forget, deprive
    1a) (Qal) to forget
    1b) (Niphal) to be forgotten
1c) (Piel) to cause to forget
1d) (Hiphil) to cause to forget, allow to be forgotten

Because she did not continue in the joy that God first gave her, but fell under the spell of that beast, God has caused her to forget all that joyful shouting she once had. It is gone from her and now all she has is that law.... 'better be here each time.....better pay those tithes, etc.'

Wisdom:

Strong: H2449

Orig: a primitive root, to be wise (in mind, word or act):--X exceeding, teach wisdom, be (make self, shew self) wise, deal (never so) wisely, make wiser.

See, that beast cause this person to not be able to teach themselves or make themselves wise.

Understanding:

Strong: H998

Orig: from 995; understanding:--knowledge, meaning, X perfectly, understanding, wisdom. H995

    1) understanding, discernment
    1a) act
    1b) faculty
    1c) object
    1d) personified

Because this person put themselves down under that paid beast, God has not imparted to her any understanding or wisdom. She has cheated herself out of all Godliness by joining that church, allowing herself to be put under law

or constraint and standing in awe of that beast as though he is the only one that can hear from God.

39:18 What time 6256 she lifteth up 4754 8686 herself on high 4791, she scorneth 7832 8799 the horse 5483 and his rider 7392 8802.

Lifteth:

Strong: H4754

Orig: a primitive root; to rebel; hence (through the idea of maltreating) to whip, i.e. lash (self with wings, as the ostrich in running):--be filthy, lift up self.

    1) (Hiphil) to beat (the air), flap (the wings)
    1a) meaning dubious
    2) (Qal) filthy

the implication is terrible. The church member has become proud and lifting herself up on high thus she has become filthy and is only beating the air. Her life is now meaningless for anything to God. She thinks because she runs faithfully to that barn or storehouse that she is now better than those feathered foul that stayed out in the open air and fly in the heavens.

Scorneth:

Strong: H7832

Orig: a primitive root; to laugh (in pleasure or detraction); by implication, to play:--deride, have in derision, laugh, make merry, mock(-er), play, rejoice, (laugh to) scorn, be in (make) sport.

Now she has become at the lowest. She is now mocking all that is truly Godly. She is now mocking the joy she once had with God. She is nor mocking the joyful shouting of those who do have the Holy Ghost.

She is scorning the horse and his rider. This is Jesus in Revelation; also those who held to the joy of the Holy Ghost. We ride that spirit or horse.

The message revealed in these verses is awesome. I could never have seen this without searching these original meanings of the words. This is the true spiritual revelation of this passage.

A person began a life with God and had some righteousness which shows as an egg; (white). But then she joins a church and is put under law or constraint to obey the beast of the field, that pastor. In doing so she becomes hardened toward the egg and becomes lifted up in pride and now actually mocks the joy she once had in God.

This is the true way of 'churched folks'.
