It says that DUST is the SERPENTS...MEAT. I have been saying for many years that this mean the earthly, worldly things, such as money, and other material things. (and I am sure this is part of it.....but, as Jesus told me....not the initial meaning). See, the CARNAL mind is the ENMITY . To be carnally minded is death and against Christ. So, what Jesus told me is this: those who see the scriptures as NATURAL, or carnal, are the ones EATING this DUST MEAT. The DUST is this NATURAL interpretation of Scripture. See, they are carnal minded, (the serpents)... and cannot 'see' the scriptures as SPIRITUAL. God clearly told us that his Word is spiritual and must be spiritually discerned, or EATEN. Paul made it clear that enlightenment or understanding is HOW WE EAT the word. The carnal minded cannot understand the spiritual language of scripture. Take the word 'EAT'...they can only think of the belly...>> as in 'eating' our breakfast. When they read the word 'TREE', they can only think of a natural tree such as an apple tree. When they read the word, 'SERPENT', their carnal, natural minds run to reptile SNAKES. Therefore they can never, never come to the knowledge of the TRUTH. They will always look at the scripture from what the words 'seem' to imply, to their carnal minds, or the natural meaning of words, such as EAT. But in God's word, the word, food, meat, eat,etc is NOT REFERRING to our natural food that we take into our bellies. This, dear ones, is the DUST WHICH THE SERPENTS EAT. This natural, carnal understanding is ALL THAT THE SERPENTS or anti-christs can come up with or see, or eat. So they are in total darkness as to God's TRUTH. Thus, they can never be set free or come into the kingdom of God. God said he HID IT FROM THE WISE and reveals it to babes. This mysterious 'LANGUAGE' is how he hid it. Their natural, or carnal minds cannot grasp the spiritual language of Scripture. Therefore when we who do see things spiritual, tell them its truth, they think we are craze. By ...Jo Smith..... It will tell you it means a RELIGIOUS HYPOCRITE. See, how Jesus repeatedly calls the pharisees of his day, HYPOCRITES? now watch how he identifies this: 3 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell? |
