I saw your tears

I saw your tears;  I  know your fear.

I heard your cry and know that help is near.

You are not alone;  Jesus is there to atone. 

You sorrow now but tomorrow

Joy will flow and you will then know

Happiness and health will overflow.

I am listening to your groans and know your despair.

Stop crying and say a prayer.

Jesus will send you the help you need. 

He will then your soul feed.

Once you were a baby in my arms

And you were so full of charms.

Now you sit and grieve.

It will end if you will believe

That it will be alright;  you will have no more fright. 

I saw your tears;  I heard you sob;  I feel your pain. 

Your weeping is not in vain.  You will regain

All that you lost and much more. You will then retain

All the brightness and beauty and joy you had. 

Then you will be glad 

That you went through the valley of tears. 

Glory will be yours for many years.

Weep no more for rejoicing is at your door.

When the virtues are added up you will have the highest score.

You have excelled in every way. 

All your sorrow will melt away.

Imagine that you have golden wings

Be convinced that you will have all these things.

Doubtless, you feel this cannot transpire

But you will sing like a heavenly choir.

You will be blessed beyond what you can conceive.

Then you will be ready to leave

That Valley of tears.
